Entry Form
Entrants
of the Chukchi Consortium Library Art Contest should submit original flat
artwork designed
to capture the essence and uniqueness of life in Northwest Alaska. Drawings or
computer-generated
visuals with limited or no text are recommended. The artwork must be original
work prepared solely
by the entrant. All forms of art will be considered.
Entries may consist of but are not limited to pencil,
crayon, paint, chalk, or computer-generated. Please
keep in mind that the artwork will be scanned flat, so 3-D art is not
appropriate for this contest. Artwork
should be no larger than 4 inches x 6 inches and should be in landscape format.
Judging will be based on
originality, creativity, and ability to communicate the uniqueness of life in
Northwest Alaska. All entries will
be returned and become the property of the artist.
To enter this contest, the artwork and entry form must be
received by May 16, 2008. All the information on
the entry form must be
completed to be eligible.
Digital Image Requirements
Artwork can be submitted via e-mail with the completed
submission form attached. Images should be formatted to
300 dpi and should be
submitted in JPG (at high quality) or TIFF format. File sizes must be at least
1MB per image.
Images must be in natural color.

Contest Dates
The contest begins March 24, 2008. Entries must be received
by May 16, 2008. The Chukchi Consortium Library
whose decisions will be final
on all matters relating to this contest will judge all eligible entries
received. Entries
that fail to conform to the rules may be disqualified. The
winner will be announced by May 22, 2008.
